The annual Christmas Light-Up @ Orchard 2010 (CLU) returned for the 27th year in 2010 with a classy take on the décor, transforming Orchard Road into a glittering world of stars and shimmering ornaments from 20 November 2010 to 2 January 2011.

On 20 November 2010, Hitachi Asia Ltd. launched the "Smart City by Hitachi" exhibition at the Japan Creative Centre (JCC). Inaugurated by Ambassador of Japan, Yoichi Suzuki and Emeritus Chairman of Hitachi, Ltd., Dr. Tsutomu Kanai, it is the first of a series of exhibitions introducing Japan eco technologies.
